The 2012 Elections: Why Obama Won and the Implications for Governance

The voting is done. The results are in. Now what happens? What factors contributed to the Obama win and how will he and the Congress govern? Discusssing the implications are two journalists: Dan Balz, Chief Correspondent of Washington Post and Matthew Kaminski of the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board along with the Hoover Instution's David Brady, Deputy Director and Davies Family Senior Fellow and Douglas Rivers, Senior Fellow and President and CEO of YouGove/Polimetrix and Professor of Political Science, Stanford. Moderating will be Shanto Iyengar, Chandler Professor of Communication and Professor of Political Science, Stanford.
