Violinist and Department of Music faculty member Dawn Harms and her musical guests present a lively educational program recommended for children in grades 2-8. Harms is a member of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and is the associate concertmaster of the New Century Chamber Orchestra. She also performs as co-concertmaster with the Oakland East Bay Symphony and is the co-founder and music director of the Music at Kirkwood chamber music festival. A strong advocate of children's music education, she designs and performs educational concerts throughout the United States. This annual concert is presented in partnership with the Friends of Music at Stanford.
