The Stanford community and the public are invited to hear the closing argument in the trial phrase of the United States Supreme Court case of Montana v. North Dakota and Wyoming that will be held before Special Master Barton Thompson, the Robert E. Paradise Professor in Natural Resources Law and Perry L. McCarty Director, Woods Institute for the Environment. The argument is expected to last most of the morning and possibly extend into the afternoon, and will cover interstate water rights issues arising from the Yellowstone River Compact of 1950 between the States of Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming.
