Rodney Gehrke, concert organist, harpsichordist, pianist, conductor, choir director, teacher, and liturgical musician, will be performing works by Bach, Buxtehude and Scheidemann as part of the 30th anniversary of the Fisk-Nanney organ in historic Memorial Church. He is Director of Music at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Palo Alto, Organist and Choir Director at San Francisco’s Temple Emanu-El, and Professor of Organ at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. As a recording artist, he has recorded as continuo organist and harpsichordist with the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, American Bach Soloists, and Voices of Music, and has also made two CDs of Mexican Baroque music with Chanticleer. Presented by the Office for Religious Life at Stanford in partnership with the Department of Music.
