Franca Sozzani, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia, will be speaking at Stanford on Friday, November 14, 2014 as the first speaker in the Fashion at Stanford Speaker Series for the '14-'15 Academic Year. Fashion at Stanford is a series of talks by notable figures in fashion. Co-Sponsor: Ms. Sozzani's appearance is co-produced with Luce Cinecittà – Rome. Franca Sozzani has been the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia since 1988. In 1994, Sozzani also became the Editorial Director of Condé Nast Italia. In 2006, she became the Editor-in-Chief of l’Uomo Vogue. In February 2010, Sozzani successfully launched, Vogue.it, the online version of Vogue Italia. Since the 1990s, her interests expanded in many directions, covering design and art and humanity projects supporting charitable events and initiatives.
