Jackie Speier has represented California in Congress since April 2008. Jackie serves on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and the Committee on Homeland Security, for which she is the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence. She is also a member of her party’s leadership team as Senior Whip, working within the Democratic caucus to push issues that will create jobs and strengthen the middle class. Recently, she has joined the Not For Sale campaign to combat human trafficking in California.
