Back by popular demand, a free community chamber music workshop with coaches from Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra will be presented by Stanford Live. Amateur or pre- professional chamber ensembles (string quartets, wind quintets, piano trios, and other small mixed ensembles) are invited to apply. Both modern instruments and period instruments are welcome. Repertoire (up to 10 minutes in duration) should be from the early Baroque through early Romantic eras. Three to four ensembles will be chosen and each will be coached for an hour. After a short break, each ensemble will give a public performance in masterclass format.
